INTERKLAST signed the partnership agreement with Akamai Technologies, a global leader in content delivery, provider of cloud services to manage, optimize and protect online content and business applications.

Akamai Technologies- is a provider of services for website acceleration, and content delivery platforms and applications. Akamai uses 210,000 geographically distributed servers for faster content delivery to visitors. Akamai’s CDN-servers help to manage traffic on the most visited Internet sites, caching their content and redistributing information flows within the global network. CDN-servers are also used to repel DDoS-attacks.

During the project implementation 3 main operating BR routers have been upgraded in 3 locations – Kiev, Lviv and Kharkov:
service audit and reconfiguration were conducted in order to avoid impact on the services;
expansion of the used chassis with new high-performance 220 Gb / s interfaces (1x100GE + 12x10GE) was performed for each router;
customer services were not impacted
The peak performance of the upgraded solution is 3 x 1Tbps (Full Duplex).

The IPSec Gateway solution was configured and successfully integrated into the core of the IP MPLS network of VF Ukraine PrJSC.
As a result of the project, it became possible to organize and terminate IPSec tunnels up to 10 Gb/s, both for commercial subscribers and for internal services. This allowed securely connect the LTE base stations linked by microwave connections

INTERKLAST constructed and commissioned new nodes and segments of Mobile Backhaul network, based on Cisco ASR 900 MPR-routers for Vodafone Ukraine. The project was completed within very short timeframes, ensuring high-quality network operation in 9 largest regions of Ukraine: Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kirovograd, Mykolaiv, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
457 new nodes were installed and launched. The building of new network segments, their integration, testing and commissioning were carried out on the basis of the existing nodes “BB” and “AGGR” types, which imposed restrictions on the work due to the possible impact on the existing network services.
All the works were completed ahead of the schedule with the maximum pace up to 50 turnkey nodes per week.
